A

ADAPTER I CHARGING CABLE
You can obtain adapters and mobile charging cables for various models from our reception, subject to availability. We will charge you a deposit of CHF 20.00 when you borrow the equipment, which will be credited when you return it.

At the head of each bed, you will find a USB socket that can be used to charge various mobile devices.

ALLERGIES
If you are allergic to feather bedding, we will be happy to provide you with pillows and duvets with synthetic fillings. If you have any food intolerances, contact reception. It is best to let us know your requirements before you arrive.

B

BABY CRIB
A baby crib can be reserved when you book your room or order at reception on arrival. Depending on availability, the baby crib will be provided for CHF 15.00 per night.

BANK MACHINES
Banks and ATMs are located on the opposite side of Kloten station. For opening hours and locations, contact reception.

BAR TSCHADUN
The bar is open from Monday to Sunday from 05:00 pm to 12:00 pm.

BATHROBE
On request we can provide you with a bathrobe for CHF 10.00 per day.

BORDING PASS
Send an e-mail to allegralodge@a-chesa.ch and the boarding pass will be printed out for you at the reception.

BREAKFAST
In the Restaurant & Bar Tschadun next to the reception we serve our rich breakfast. You have the choice between:

Breakfast buffet:
Monday to Saturday from 06:00 am to 09:30 am and Sunday until 10:00 am.

Express breakfast:
Daily from 05:30 a.m. to 07:00 a.m.

BUSINESS-CORNER
Internet access and printing facilities are available at the high table in the lobby.

BUS FROM AND TO THE AIRPORT
Buses run from Zurich Airport bus station to Kloten at regular intervals. Take bus 731 in the direction of Kloten-Buchhalden (bus stop Kloten, Breitistrasse/Bahnhof) or bus 733 in the direction of Kloten-Graswinkel (bus stop Kloten, Bahnhof) for about 10 – 15 minutes to Kloten.

You can buy tickets for all public transport online or at the SBB ticket machines in arrival halls 1 and 2, in the Check-in 3 area, at Zurich Airport station or Kloten station.

Current timetables for train and bus connections can be found online on the websites of SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) and ZVV (Zurich Transport Network). This allows you to conveniently view and plan your travel times at any time.

CAB
Our team at reception will be happy to organize a cab for you.

CAR RENTAL
A large car rental centre with various providers is located at Zurich Airport on the first floor of the Airport Shopping.

CHANGE OF MONEY
We are happy to exchange euros, US dollars and British pounds for you at the current daily exchange rates at reception.

CHECK-IN
Your booked room will be ready for you from 02:00 pm on the day of arrival. Early check-in is possible for a fee, subject to availability.

CHURCH
There is both a Catholic and a Reformed church in Kloten. The service in the Reformed church takes place on Sundays at 10:00 am. Masses in the Catholic church are as follows:
Thursdays at 09:00 am, Saturdays at 05:00 pm and Sundays at 10:00 am. There is also a prayer room at the airport which is open to all religions.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES
Our conference rooms offer space for up to 50 people. For more information, contact reception.

CREDIT CARDS
In addition to cash, we also accept the following means of payment:
Visa, Mastercard, EC-Maestro, Diners Club, American Express, Post Finance, UnionPay, VP Bank, TWINT, JCB. Note that we do not accept personal checks.

DEFIBRILLATOR
In the event of an emergency, there is a defibrillator at reception. Do not hesitate to contact reception immediately in an emergency. We are always available to help you quickly.

DEPARTURE
We ask you to vacate your room by 12:00 noon on the day of departure. Your luggage can be stored in the luggage room. Online check-out is available for those in a hurry. We also offer late check-out subject to availability and for a fee. Contact reception.

DIGITAL SERVICE
Use our digital services during your hotel stay to check in, access your room and check out.

With our digital services, we offer our guests a contactless and secure stay in our hotel rooms, business apartments and studios. The innovative service offers you a stress-free online check-in from home or on the go. With the mobile key on your cell phone, you can go straight to your room without having to wait at reception. Alternatively, a self-check-in desk is available next to reception. For more flexibility and time savings on the day of departure, we recommend online check-out. Simply try it out and discover the contactless hotel stay.

DOCTOR
If you need an emergency doctor, contact reception if possible. The Airport Medical Centre at Zurich Airport is available by phone +41 43 816 60 00 from 08:00 am to 5:00 pm.

DRINKING WATER
The tap water in our hotel is of the highest quality and can be drunk without hesitation and used for the kettle or coffee machine.

EXCURSIONS
City tours or day trips can be booked directly at reception. Documents from various providers are available at reception.

ELECTRIC CARS
A charging station for electric cars is available to our guests in the underground garage for a fee. Contact reception to use it.

ELEKTRIC CONNECTIONS
The entire hotel is equipped with 220-volt connections.

ELECTRIC KETTLE
Each room has a free electric kettle. Use the kettle exclusively to boil water.

EMERGENCY
In an emergency, you can contact reception at any time. A first aid box with disinfectant spray, bandages, plasters and other aids is available there for minor injuries.

FIRE ALARM
Note the escape plan in your room on the inside of the room door.

FIRE
Help to prevent a fire. In the event of a fire alarm, follow the escape plan which you will find on the inside of the room door. In the event of a fire, inform reception immediately on 8444.

What to do in case of fire:

  • Keep calm and close the windows
  • Note the escape plan in your hotel room
  • Close the room door after leaving the hotel room
  • Fire extinguishers see escape plan
  • Do not use the elevator, leave the house via stairs I escape routes

FITNESS ROOM
Our fitness room in the Allegra building is available for your physical exercise before or after a long day. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Open daily from 08:00 am to 10:00 pm.

FLOWERS
The reception will be happy to organize flowers for you according to your wishes and budget.

HAIRDRESSER
If you are planning a visit to the hairdresser during your stay, Kloten offers numerous options. If you need help choosing or would like to make an appointment, our reception will be happy to help you. Just ask!

HOUSE RULES
Ensure absolute silence in the corridors of the hotel between 10:00 pm and 08:00 am.

HYGIENE ARTICLES
If you need hygiene items such as a razor, toothpaste/brush, comb, nail file, cotton buds, shower cap, shoe polish sponge, slippers, shoehorn, menstrual items or sewing kit, you can obtain these free of charge around the clock from reception. Subject to availability.

INTERNET I WLAN
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. You don’t need any access data or a password. The network is called “Hotel Allegra”.

IRONING
The ironing room is located on level -2, near the entrance to the underground parking garage. An iron is always available there free of charge.

L

LAUNDRY CHANGE SERVICED APARTMENTS & STUDIOS
Laundry is usually changed once a week from Monday to Friday between 08:00 am and 02:00 pm. If you would like an additional change of linen, contact reception. This service is subject to a charge.

LAUNDRY SERVICE
Hand in your clothes to be cleaned or washed by 09:00 a.m. at reception in a laundry bag together with the completed form. You will find bags and forms in your closet. Your cleaned or ironed laundry will be returned to you by 06:00 pm on the same day at the latest. As the cleaning is carried out by an external service provider, the Hotel Allegra Lodge cannot accept any liability. The laundry service is not available on Saturdays and Sundays.

LIABILITY
In the event of wilful damage, you will be charged for the costs incurred. The hotel accepts no liability for personal items.

LOCKING THE ROOM DOOR
Press the button by the door handle.

LUGGAGE STORAGE
You will find our luggage room on the 2nd basement floor. You will receive the key at reception. The luggage room is available to all hotel guests, but the hotel accepts no liability.

LUGGAGE SERVICE
Luggage trolleys are available at the main entrance to the Allegra Lodge. We will be happy to help you with your luggage on request.

MOBILE KEY
To receive the mobile key automatically on your smartphone on the day of your arrival, enter your cell phone number including country code during online check-in and install the Justin Mobile app on your smartphone.

Alternatively, you can also receive the mobile key directly on site. Simply report to reception, where we will need your cell phone number to set up the mobile key for you.

NEWSPAPERS I MAGAZINES I BOOKS
In the lobby you will find books, daily newspapers and magazines that you can read on site. Put them back after reading so that other guests can enjoy them too.

NON-SMOKING HOTEL
The Hotel Allegra Lodge is a completely smoke-free hotel. Smoking is not permitted in the entire building. If you smoke in your room or out of the window, you will be charged a cleaning fee of CHF 250.00.

ONLINE-CHECK-IN
A few days before your arrival, you’ll receive an email from us inviting you to check in online. Follow the instructions and fill in any missing contact information. You can even fill out and sign the registration form directly online. To ensure you receive the Mobile Key on your smartphone on the day of your arrival, provide your mobile phone number (including the country code) during online check-in and install the JustIn Mobile app on your smartphone.

ONLINE CHECK-OUT
Before your departure, we will send you an invitation to check out online via email.

OUTDOOR ACTION
Kloten and the surrounding area invites you to go for wonderful walks, hikes and jogging at any time. Ask at reception about the various options. A particular highlight is the Hardwald Tower with a fantastic panoramic view of the region and the Zurich Rope Park, which is known as the most Creative rope park in Switzerland.

Swim in the public indoor pool in the Schluefweg centre in Kloten. In the warmer months, the outdoor pool is also open. The swimming pool is about a 10-minute walk away.

P

PARKING
During your stay, paid parking spaces are available in the underground garage and around the building. The fee is charged per night. We ask you to only park in the parking spaces marked with a green light. The hotel accepts no liability for theft or other damage.

PETS
Dogs and cats are very welcome. You can bring your pet for CHF 15.00 per day and animal (without food). Note that dogs must be kept on a lead in and around the house.

PHARMACIES
Pharmacies are located not far from the hotel in Kloten or at Zurich Airport. Our reception staff will be happy to show you where they are located.

PILLOW SELECTION
Special pillows such as feather pillows, allergy pillows and neck pillows are available subject to availability.

PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB
If you do not want to be disturbed, hang the sign (red side) on the outside of the room door. When you leave the room, we ask you to remove it again so that your room can be cleaned. You can lock the door by pressing the lock button, which prevents housekeeping from accessing the room.

PRIVATE SPA
For your private wellness experience in elegant Swiss Alpine style, three private wellness oases with sauna and steam shower await you in our lodge. Relax after a busy day or a long flight and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Water and tea as well as fresh seasonal fruit are available during your stay.

Opening hours:
Daily from 08:00 am to 11:00 pm. A stay in the spa area is possible for up to 3.5 hours. Early booking is recommended. Contact reception to book your time out.

POSTAL SERVICE
Incoming mail is delivered daily and held for you. Contact the reception desk to send the mail. Stamps are also available at reception.

RADIO I TV
All televisions in the hotel rooms are equipped with Philips Media Suite TVs with integrated Chromecast technology. Enjoy your personal entertainment in addition to the public radio and television program with the following functions:

  • Chromecast: Stream your own content directly to the TV.
  • Netflix-Ready: SIGN in with your own Netflix account.
  • Google Play: Easy access to Google Play for even more entertainment.
  • Streaming-Apps: Use various apps to stream directly via the TV.

RECEPTION
Our reception is staffed around the clock by multilingual employees and always there for you.

REFRIGERATOR
A small fridge is available in your room. You can purchase drinks at reception or at the hotel bar at any time.

RESTAURANT & BAR TSCHADUN
The Restaurant & Bar Tschadun is located on the first floor. Our kitchen team is passionate about using seasonal and regional produce. The preparation is often traditional, but with a new twist. Numerous dishes of Swiss cuisine are served in a modern and honest way. The fresh cuisine in the Restaurant Tschadun promises maximum enjoyment at lunchtime and in the evening.

Opening hours Restaurant Tschadun:
Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 02:00 pm and 06:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Food can be ordered up to 30 minutes before closing time.

The Bar Tschadun is open daily from 04:00 pm to 12.00 pm.

We are happy to take your table reservation at the reception.

As our restaurant is closed at weekends, we recommend our Italian partner restaurants directly in Kloten: the Ristorante Mercato and the Pizzeria Giardino. Both restaurants are within 5 – 10 minutes walking distance.

ROOFTOP BAR TSCHADUN PIZ
Our rooftop bar is an insider’s tip for beautiful summer evenings and is open every Friday from 05:00 pm to 10:00 pm, weather permitting, from May through the end of September. In addition to delicious snacks and refreshing drinks, you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets and a spectacular view of Kloten. Reservations are not accepted.

Larger groups of 10 or more can rent the rooftop terrace exclusively. A minimum spend is required. We’d be happy to put together a custom offer for you.

ROOM KEY CARD
Always have your key card with you if you are not using a mobile key. You can use it not only to open your room, but also to conveniently charge consumption in the restaurant or at the bar to your room bill. At night, when the front door is closed, you can open the main entrance door with your room card.

ROOM CLEANING
Your room will be cleaned daily between 09:00 am and 02:00 pm. Hang the green card on the door when you have left the room. There is a charge of CHF 50.00 for additional cleaning of the room.

ROOM CLEANING – INDIVIDUAL
Your decision supports the environment! For stays of 2 nights or more, you decide whether or which room cleaning services are required during your stay at the Hotel Allegra Lodge.

Simply scan the QR code in the bathroom and cancel or personalize your daily cleaning. It only takes a few clicks, and you’ve already helped to conserve resources. You’ll receive a small thank you at check-out.

S

SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX
You can store your valuables in your room in a safe with a power connection. The instructions for using the room safe can be found on the front of the safe. Read them carefully before entering your personal code.

SELF-CHECK-IN
Check in without waiting in line! To save time upon arrival, simply use our self-check-in desk. Just have your reservation number and a valid ID ready, and follow the on-screen instructions.

SHOPPING
On the other side of the station you will find the centre of Kloten, where you can discover various stores. The opening hours are usually from 08:00 am to 07:00 pm or 08:00 pm. If you want to go to Zurich (only 15 minutes away), the stores there are open until 08:00 pm during the week. On Saturdays, the large shopping centres are also open until 08:00 pm, but they are closed on Sundays.

At Zurich Airport you can shop daily from 08:00 am to 09.00 pm. The supermarket and pharmacy at the airport are even open until 11:00 pm.

SHOWER CHAIR
Available on request and in limited numbers. Contact the reception.

SMOKING
We ask our guests to smoke outside only. Smoking in the room or out of the window will be charged with a cleaning fee of CHF 250.00.

STATION
Kloten train station is less than a 5-minute walk away.

Train tickets for the journey into the city of Zurich (3 zones) can be purchased conveniently at reception. Our team will be happy to help you!
